Privacy Policy
1. Scope
This Policy applies to the MIGIGO website and Japan Pension Lump-sum Withdrawal Payment application-preparation service provided by AN ATHIT CO., LTD.
2. Personal information processed and purposes of use
MIGIGO processes the email address used when first registering, authentication and access status, and inquiry details for account verification and customer inquiries. When you finalize your application, the same PDF files available to download on screen are automatically sent to the email address you used when you first registered. If you have registered a backup email address, they are also sent there.
Customers may optionally register a backup email address they control, verify ownership with a verification code, and use it for account recovery.
To prepare the application, we process the passport, documents showing that you no longer have an address in Japan, bank documents, Basic Pension Number documents, and, where applicable, employment records you upload, together with the values you have confirmed or corrected.
For payment verification, service entitlement management, cancellation, and refunds, we process the transaction reference, payment status, amount, currency, and service entitlement status. MIGIGO does not collect or store card numbers.
3. Ratio Engine and document recognition
MIGIGO's Ratio engine finds and enters text information needed for the application from documents uploaded by the customer. The customer can review the entered information and correct errors, and the values are not final until the customer reviews or corrects them.
Personal information such as passport data is used only for character recognition and application preparation. Customer documents and processing results are not used for facial recognition, biometric identification, AI model training, marketing, general quality analysis, or any purpose unrelated to application preparation.
4. 24-hour retention and deletion of application data
Uploaded documents, Ratio-engine results, customer-reviewed or corrected values, and temporary PDFs are automatically deleted no later than 24 hours after first storage. New entries or edits do not extend this period, and deleted application data cannot be recovered.
After final confirmation, MIGIGO's copy of the application data and confirmed PDF is deleted after 24 hours. Redownload is not guaranteed after that.
The minimum records needed to handle accounts, payments, service entitlements, refunds, and personal-information requests are retained separately from application data, along with records of consent, withdrawal, and deletion that do not contain the contents of the application data.
If the application has not been finalized and the service period remains active, the customer may give consent again and re-upload the required documents to restart preparation without an additional payment.
5. Processing by service providers
MIGIGO may use payment processors and infrastructure providers to the extent needed for payment and service operation. Before any external provider processes personal information, we will disclose the recipient, information and purpose, processing country, retention period, and customer rights.
Card information required for payment is processed directly by the payment processor; MIGIGO does not store card numbers.
6. Information provided to a Japanese tax accountant
Merely requesting tax-refund representation by MIGIGO's recommended tax accountant does not provide the customer's personal information or pension lump-sum application data to the accountant.
After the payment decision, only the name, email address, and phone number separately approved by the customer are provided to MIGIGO's recommended tax accountant. The purpose, items, and retention period are disclosed before consent, and the direct-claim application data and original payment-decision notice are not sent automatically.
7. Cookies and access information
MIGIGO may use the minimum cookies and device, browser, and access information needed to operate the service, such as maintaining sign-in, providing security, and checking errors. We do not use them to track behavior for advertising purposes.
8. Deletion and privacy rights
After signing in, customers can request deletion of application data and withdrawal of consent to its processing from the application screen. Customers may also request access, correction, deletion, restriction, withdrawal of consent, and confirmation of disclosures for other personal information.
Signed-in customers can review, change, or delete a backup email address. The email address used when you first registered and backup email address are deleted after 24 months of inactivity measured from the later of the last successful authentication or authenticated account activity.
If a backup email address was not registered in advance, an operator will not use a name, payment information, or other materials to find or disclose the email address used when you first registered. The recovery screen gives the same response without revealing whether a particular address is registered.
Deletion of application data and deletion of an account are separate requests. Even if an account is deleted, minimum records required for payment, refunds, legal obligations, or dispute response may remain for the period necessary for those purposes.
Privacy requests and inquiries are accepted at contact@migigo.app. If necessary, we verify identity before providing the result.
9. Data protection and Policy changes
MIGIGO applies necessary safeguards, including restricting access to personal information, protecting data in transit and storage, managing access logs, and automatic deletion.
If a personal-information incident may materially affect customer rights and interests, we will notify the relevant authorities and affected customers as required by applicable law.
If material provisions of this Policy change, the changes and effective date will be announced in Notices.
