Terms of Service
1. Contracting parties, consent, and formation
These Terms set the conditions of use between AN ATHIT CO., LTD ("MIGIGO") and the user. Before payment, the user reviews and agrees to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
A paid service agreement is formed when the user reviews the service scope, final price, applicable taxes, and cancellation and refund rules, and completes payment.
The account owner, payer, and claimant may be different people. However, an entitlement may be used only to prepare one claim form for one claimant as permitted under these Terms.
2. Service deliverables and included and excluded scope
MIGIGO prepares separate print-ready PDFs for each recipient containing the Japan Pension Service claim form reflecting values reviewed or corrected by the customer, submission attachments approved by the customer, a pre-submission checklist, post-filing guidance, and tax-refund guidance. The Japan Pension Service submission section and customer-copy section are clearly separated.
The service fee includes review of Ratio-engine character-recognition results, unlimited corrections before final confirmation, preparation of separate PDFs for each recipient, and tax-refund process guidance for Employees' Pension claimants. It does not include preparation or filing of a tax-refund return, a tax-accountant engagement or fee, printing, international postage, or external-agency costs.
MIGIGO is not the Japan Pension Service and does not submit the claim form on the customer's behalf or represent, inquire, negotiate, or make statements to the Japan Pension Service for the customer. MIGIGO also does not collect passwords for e-Gov or Japan Pension Service accounts.
3. Ratio-engine input and customer review
The Ratio Engine finds and enters the text information needed for the claim form from documents uploaded by the customer. Entered information is not final until the customer reviews or corrects it.
The customer may review and correct entered information without a limit on the number of changes until final confirmation. Only values reviewed, entered, or corrected directly by the customer are used to prepare the claim form and PDF. The accuracy of the Ratio Engine is not guaranteed, and before final confirmation the customer must directly review their name, date of birth, nationality, address, pension enrollment history, bank account information, and all other claim information.
The email address used when you first registered cannot be changed.
When you finalize your application, the same PDF files available to download on screen are automatically sent to the email address you used when you first registered. If you have registered a backup email address, they are also sent there.
Customers may optionally register a backup email address they control, verify ownership with a verification code, and use it for account recovery. If no backup email address was registered in advance, MIGIGO cannot assist with account recovery.
The email address used when you first registered and backup email address are deleted after 24 months of inactivity measured from the later of the last successful authentication or authenticated account activity.
MIGIGO does not collect customer passwords or sign on a customer’s behalf.
4. Customer’s direct submission
Customers review the Japan Pension Service submission PDF and the separate PDF for their own records. They print and sign the claim form by hand, submit only the submission section directly to the Japan Pension Service through e-Gov or by international mail, and retain the checklist, mailing address, post-filing guidance, and tax-refund guidance.
The customer must directly handle the submission method, handwritten signature, completeness of attachments, submission timing, and submission of any additional materials requested by the Japan Pension Service. MIGIGO does not represent the customer in making the Lump-sum Withdrawal Payment claim or submitting materials.
5. Fees, payment, and service entitlements
The service fee is US$149 per claimant and per claim, excluding VAT and any other applicable taxes. The actual contract price and applicable taxes are confirmed and displayed on the payment screen.
One payment may be used only to prepare one claim form for one claimant and may not be transferred to another claimant or divided among multiple claims.
The service period is 12 months from the payment date and is separate from the retention period for application data. If the claim form is not completed within that period, the service period expires and is not automatically extended or refunded.
The service is complete when the customer reviews and finally confirms the final version and PDF transmission actually begins.
After final confirmation, the content cannot be changed and the PDF cannot be regenerated. While MIGIGO retains it, only the same confirmed PDF may be provided again, and the payment cannot be changed, transferred, or reused for another claimant.
6. 24-hour retention, deletion, and re-uploading of application data
Application data, including in-progress documents, Ratio-engine input candidates, customer-reviewed or corrected values, and temporary PDFs, is retained for no more than 24 hours after first storage and then deleted. New entries or edits do not extend this period, and deleted data cannot be recovered.
Before the retention period ends, customers may request deletion of application data and withdrawal of consent from the signed-in application screen. When completed, in-progress application data—or finalized application data and MIGIGO's confirmed-PDF copy—is immediately deleted and cannot be recovered.
After final confirmation, MIGIGO's copy of the application data and confirmed PDF is deleted after 24 hours. Redownload is not guaranteed after that.
If the application has not been finalized and the service period remains active, the customer may give new consent and upload the required documents again after automatic or customer-requested deletion to restart preparation without another payment. Preparation cannot restart after final confirmation.
Minimum status needed for accounts, payments, service entitlements, refunds, and consent is processed separately from application data. Detailed information processing and the exercise of rights are governed by the Privacy Policy.
7. Cancellation and refunds
You may request a full refund within 14 days of payment, provided you have not finalized your application by downloading the PDF.
Missing required documents, a Japan Pension Service payment or nonpayment result, and expiration of the service period are not by themselves separate grounds for a refund. A refund process may also be requested for a confirmed duplicate payment or an unrecoverable failure attributable to MIGIGO.
Refunds are unavailable after you finalize your application by downloading the PDF. An approved refund is processed through the original payment method and currency. These Terms do not exclude rights under applicable mandatory consumer law.
8. Japan Pension Service review and payment decision
Eligibility, coverage period, claim deadline, review, and payment decision for the Pension Lump-sum Withdrawal Payment are within the Japan Pension Service's exclusive authority. MIGIGO does not guarantee the Japan Pension Service's payment decision.
MIGIGO does not guarantee payment, amount, processing time, or the outcome of any withholding-tax refund. Before payment and submission, customers must personally review the Japan Pension Service guidance that applies to them.
9. Appointing a Japanese tax accountant (Zeirishi, CPTA) for a tax refund
MIGIGO guides customers seeking a tax refund on an Employees' Pension Lump-sum Withdrawal Payment in requesting representation by MIGIGO's recommended tax accountant (CPTA).
The scope of tax-refund work and fees are reviewed separately before the engagement agreement, and the tax accountant's fee is not included in the MIGIGO service fee.
Customer information is provided to MIGIGO's recommended tax accountant only after separate customer consent. Direct-claim application data and the original payment-decision notice are not transmitted automatically.
10. Prohibited conduct and use restrictions
Customers must not provide false or altered materials, use third-party materials without authority, use one payment for multiple claimants, bypass access controls, or violate laws, third-party rights, or Japan Pension Service procedures.
MIGIGO may restrict data processing, PDF provision, or account use where fraudulent use is reasonably suspected or where necessary to protect service stability, security, or the rights of others. Where necessary, we will provide the reason for the restriction and the method for raising an objection.
11. Service Changes or Suspension and the Customer's Final Review Responsibility
MIGIGO may change or temporarily suspend all or part of the service when necessary for service improvements, changes in laws or Japan Pension Service forms, security, or operations. Changes that materially affect customers, together with the dates they take effect, will be announced in Notices.
MIGIGO has a duty to make diligent efforts to provide the agreed claim-form preparation functions. MIGIGO prepares a draft claim form. The customer must directly review the draft claim form and, if there are errors or omissions, correct them before requesting the PDF download. MIGIGO is not responsible for errors or omissions in the content finally reviewed and confirmed by the customer, mistakes in the customer's submission process, or the results of review by the relevant authorities.
12. Inquiries, disputes, and amendments
Service, cancellation, and refund inquiries are accepted at contact@migigo.app. If a dispute arises between a customer and MIGIGO, the parties first confirm the facts and discuss a reasonable resolution.
If these Terms are amended, material changes and the effective date will be announced in Notices.
